Would Love To Adopt A Baby

A Letter To You...

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about our little family! We can’t imagine how difficult this must be trying to decide the best option for you and your precious baby. We hope that you have the love and support you need no matter where you are in your journey.

Our Life Together

We were both born and raised in New York and went to neighboring schools. We even crossed paths many times as kids and never knew it! We met as teenagers working at a local restaurant and became “boyfriend and girlfriend” on March 8, 1998. After 7 years of dating we married June 11, 2005.

Because we grew up together we have had the luxury of starting off as kids and seeing our adult life evolve in to the amazing life it is today. We have been through it all together which has created an unbreakable bond as not only partners in life, but best friends. We support each other’s passions in life and hope to involve our child in the fun as well.

We have always known we wanted to have children and even spoke about adoption before knowing we would never be able to have children naturally. In some way we think this might have been our path all along.

We recently purchased a home in a nice family community with plenty of room to grow our family. Our new neighborhood is very active with lots of families with young children to play with. We even have a swim team for different age groups at our community pool. We have a black lab named Harley and a horse named Dusty. They are both huge parts of our life and keep us active. We love to go hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding as much as possible. We are excited to share these things with our child and introduce them to our furry family members. We also love to go camping in our travel trailer. We both grew up camping and would love to continue that tradition with our child.

A Little About Ben by Melissa

Ben is a CPA and works as a Director of Internal Audit. He has worked hard to build a successful career and stable life for us to share with a child. I love that he can be driven and serious when needed, but can easily change course in to the silly and fun-loving guy we all know and love. His kind and giving nature will surely come in handy as an involved dad. I know we can count on him with anything that life may throw at us. I truly could not imagine life without him and I cannot wait to see him as a dad!

A Little About Melissa by Ben

Melissa is a Director of Operations for a commercial furniture and textile sales rep group. The company she works for is small and like family. The support she has at her job is one of the reasons we knew we were ready to take the next step towards adoption. I am not sure I can put in to words how excited I am to see Melissa as a mother. She has always been jokingly known as the mother hen to family, friends or any of the children in our life. She always thinks one step ahead and makes sure she is providing what someone may need. Whether it is a warm hug, words of encouragement or simply someone to listen. She will be your undying support from day one. I can’t wait to see her with a child where she can fully express that love and care.

Our Promise

It would be an honor to be chosen as the parents for your child, as your confidence in us is something we could never thank you enough for. We want you to know that we will devote our lives to providing unconditional love, support and stability for your child. We are beyond excited for this journey and can’t wait to become the parents we have always known we could be. Please know we are here for you as well, and are more than happy to provide updates on the child’s progress to put you at ease that he or she is being given the best life for them to thrive.
