Sarah & Mark
I can’t even begin to know how you must feel looking at profiles of families to raise your baby. I want to thank you for making this selfless choice to give your baby the best life possible. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little.
Our names are Mark and Sarah. We have been married for almost 16 years. We have always wanted children, but unfortunately were unable to conceive. We adopted our son, Keagan, at birth 9 years ago through Little Angel Adoptions. He is the light of our lives. He has many special needs, but that just makes him extra special to us!
Mark grew up with his mom and dad, and was born in England. They moved to the states when he was a year old. He didn’t have siblings or cousins around, but always found ways to have fun! He has a strong relationship with his father and step-mom. His mother passed away over 10 years ago. Mark used to work as a press supervisor for our local newspaper. He worked there for over 17 years. About 3 years ago, he made the decision to switch to printing wine labels. He is one of the best press operators at his company and is such a hard worker. He provides very well for his family and has an excellent work ethic. But work isn’t everything. He enjoys spending his free time with Keagan and me. He is an outdoorsy guy and loves to take advantage of the beautiful area we live in. Mark often take Keagan on bike rides, to the beach, or on cruises in the convertible, one of Keagan’s favorite things to do with his Dad! Mark is such a caring and patient man. Before we had Keagan, we babysat many cousins, and he treated them as if they were his own. Always up for a game of hide-and-seek, playing with cars, or even playing dress up with the girls! He is an excellent father and has always wanted more than one child, as he grew up an only child an understands how lonely that can be.
I’m not so good at talking about myself, but here goes. I grew up in the country with my grandparents and my younger brother. I had lots of cousins who lived near by, so it felt like I had a ton of siblings. My family is still a very big part of my life. I met Mark while working at the newspaper back in 1999. I am now a stay- at- home mom for our son. I have been a substitute in the special needs department for our local school district. I helped found a non-profit group that is working on building a special needs playground in our hometown. I have a strong connection with other families in our community. For fun, I enjoy tagging along on adventures with my boys. We like to go off-roading, go to the beach, visit amusement parks when we can, and just enjoy being together. I am training our newest dog, Rubble, to be a service dog for our son. I love animals and would love to have a farm someday! I have always wanted to be a mother, and would have many children, if that’s what God wants for us. I know we are supposed to have more than one child for sure.
Our son Keagan wants a brother or sister so much! He wants someone to play with, someone to grow up with… We were foster parents for about two years realized adopting was the best option for our family.
We may not look like the typical family, but we are so full of love, patience and fun! We would love to be the parents of your baby, if that’s what you choose. We have a lot of support from our family and friends. The baby would be so loved! And have a fun, adventurous life with us!
God bless you for making this decision for your baby. We hope to hear from you. To speak with us or learn more about us, please contact Little Angel Adoptions at 888-281-88948.
